Experience

Mr. Bilir is a California licensed litigator with substantive architecture and construction experience and significant knowledge of all aspects of construction and construction litigation.

Mr. Bilir has been practicing law since 2010. He has successfully represented individuals and businesses as plaintiffs and defendants in litigated and non-litigated matters and at all stages of litigation. Mr. Bilir is experienced in California state courts as well as mediation and arbitration forums.

While at Willamette University, Mr. Bilir won the Northwest regional ABA Negotiation Competition twice and placed fifth at the National ABA Negotiation Competition. He was also a contributor to Willamette’s Recent Developments in Dispute Resolution.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bilir worked for seven years as an designer/project manager, first for a commercial architecture firm in Sunnyvale and next for a boutique residential architecture firm in Palo Alto. He has many years of experience designing high-end single-family homes where services included design development, consultant coordination, preparation of construction documents, and substantial construction administration and post-permit support. In addition, Mr. Bilir has significant experience designing tenant improvement projects for large high tech, pharmaceutical, and biotech clients.
