Experience

Mr. Stavjanik has extensive knowledge of all aspects of construction disputes and construction litigation. As a licensed litigator with over 16 years of experience, Mr. Stavjanik has represented property developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in all aspects of claims involving public and private construction projects. He assists clients in matters relating to contract disputes, property damage claims, mechanic’s liens, stop payment notices, cost overruns, construction defects, differing site conditions, delay and acceleration, disruption, default terminations and bond claims. Mr. Stavjanik has represented clients in California state courts, including all aspects of mediation and trial, as well as in arbitration.

Mr. Stavjanik has been practicing law since 2005. Prior to joining Leonidou & Rosin, Mr. Stavjanik was a senior litigator with several Bay Area law firms specializing in the defense of real estate developers, builders, general contractors and insurance carriers in construction defect claims. He has successfully represented numerous national and regional developers and contractors in complex litigated and non-litigated matters implicating liability for construction defects, property damage and insurance coverage.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Stavjanik owned and operated a manufacturing firm providing services and products to the defense and Silicon Valley high technology industries, and gained significant experience with operations in Europe and Asia.
